Each year, the College of Humanities and Social Sciences presents awards to recognize alumni from every department who are making a remarkable difference in the world. These awards honor alumni whose careers have been distinguished by significant accomplishments or through extraordinary service. Purpose of the CHSS Distinguished Alumni Awards:
- Recognize alumni who embody the core principles of the Mason Graduate
- Celebrate the achievements of CHSS alumni globally
- Increase awareness about the value of a CHSS degree
- Continue to raise the profile of CHSS in the community and build alumni affinity
