Mason’s Center for the Advancement of Well-Being is pleased to announce its 2017 Leading to Well-Being Conference, scheduled for April 6-8, 2017. The conference, featuring keynote speakers Dr. David Rock and Arianna Huffington, centers on the many ways well-being and leadership practices can empower your workplace to maximize success. Now in its eighth year—and widely regarded as the region’s top gathering on the intersection of leadership and well-being—this conference attracts the nation’s top experts in organizational leadership for deep and substantial learning.
This year the conference will feature three days of programming. Thursday, April 6, includes half-day leadership intensives, each with a set of dynamic facilitators:
- Dr. Beth Cabrera and Dr. Steve Gladis; Building Resilient Organizations through Positive Leadership
- Barry Johnson; Leveraging Polarities for Greater Organizational Resilience, Agility, and Performance
- Bridgette Theurer and Robert Duggan; Resilient Leaders Build Resilient Organizations
The theme for Friday, April 7, is Building Resilient Organizations. With a new, more flexible format, this full-day of programing includes keynote speakers Dr. David Rock and Arianna Huffington.
Saturday’s Conference on Contemplative Practices for 21st Century Higher Education is co-convened by nine major mid-Atlantic institutions of higher education, and will feature keynote speakers Brandon Busteed and Dr. Holly Rogers.
Tickets for each day of the conference are sold separately. There are a limited number of Mason staff, full-time graduate student, and undergraduate student tickets available for Friday. Space for the special Thursday Leadership Intensives is limited; the center urges early registration.
