How did you choose your specific area of study?

As a first-generation college student, I had no idea what to expect when I decided to attend college and pursue a Bachelor's degree. I was blessed with the opportunity to be highly involved as a student leader on my university campus and learn from many faculty and staff mentors. The impact of those mentors inspired me to pursue higher education as a career pathway myself.

Of which accomplishment(s) during your time at Mason are you most proud?

I am most proud of myself for pursuing my Master's degree while also working full-time at Mason. This was very challenging especially as I continued to advance in my career. However, I set the goal of making my Master's a priority and I wanted to stick with it.

What are your current career plans following graduation? What are your long-term career goals?

I will continue my work as the Associate Director of the Mason Student Services Center on campus!
