What activities were you involved in during your time at Mason that impacted you?

My participation in the Caribbean Student Association and interning at the Virginia Solidarity Economy as well as Blessinger Legal have impacted me greatly while I studied at Mason.

Did you have a favorite class or professor?

If I had to choose one, I believe it would be Social Problems and Solutions with Professor Lester Kurtz. It allowed me to feel like I can truly be a change-maker in policy, social life, and the academic world. I also very much enjoyed the entry music to most of our classes and had a great time hearing my peers' ideas for improving our society.

What is your most memorable moment at Mason?

My most memorable moment at Mason was being in the audience when our men's basketball team won the Homecoming game this past February.

What is your next step? What are your future plans?

I will participate in a service year with AmeriCorps in DC before applying to law school.

As you are reflecting on your time at Mason, what is one piece of advice you would give a student who is just starting off on their Mason journey?

Use social media as a tool to connect with your peers and the student organizations on campus.
