How did you choose your degree program?

At first, I was influenced by my aunt and uncle who also graduated with global affairs degrees. I was always interested in international issues and how different societies interact in the modern era. It seemed fitting to pick global affairs as my major.

How did your academic experiences in the College of Humanities and Social Sciences impact you?

Every academic experience I spent in CHSS helped strengthen my knowledge and professional skills. It also helped broaden my thinking and changed my outlook of the world.

What accomplishment(s) during your time at Mason are you most proud of?

Despite spending a short time at Mason, I'm particularly proud of upholding my GPA and also surviving online school during a pandemic.

Are there faculty or staff members who made a difference during your Mason career? Please give an example of this impact if possible.

I believe that each of my instructors impacted me in a positive way. Each has taught me both life and academic lessons that I will hold on to after graduation.

What advice would you give to any incoming first years?

Always reach out for help and take advantage of any opportunities that are offered.

What are your current career plans following graduation? What are your long-term career goals?

Following graduation, I aim to obtain an internship in the non-profit/government field. My long term career goals are a work in progress but I do wish to work with the international community in the future.
