What was the most impactful class you took in your major? what made it so? The professor? The assignments? What you read or learned?

The most impactful class that I took in my major was RELI 399 (The Holocaust). The course was very impactful to my learning, and I can't imagine not taking it as a Religious Studies major. What made it impactful was our class trip to the Holocaust Museum and hosting a Holocaust survivor to come speak to our class.

What activities were you involved in during your time at Mason that impacted you? A club? Research? Internship? Study abroad? Can you describe that experience a bit?

The research and topics studied throughout my college career at Mason impacted my future career path and choice. I now am interested in going into a field that I can work directly with helping others.

What is your most memorable moment at Mason inside or outside of the classroom? Can you describe it?

My most memorable moment as Mason was holding the responsibility to welcome a Holocaust survivor to come speak to our RELI 399 class. It was an experience that I will never forget. I truly enjoyed listening to her stories and experiences.

As your reflecting on your time at Mason, what is one piece of advice you would give a student who is just starting off on their Mason journey?

I would advise a new student to get involved in as much as they can. There is so much to offer at Mason, and we are so diverse.

What is your next step after graduation? What are your future plans?

I will be working at Loudoun County Public Schools (LCPS) in the Human Resources department as a Program Assistant and specializing in Substitute onboarding and management.
