Annual evaluation process for classified staff and A/P faculty now open

The annual performance evaluation process for classified staff and A/P faculty has launched! Important deadlines and details are included.

The annual performance evaluation process for classified staff and A/P faculty officially launched on February 17, 2025. This process provides an opportunity for employees to reflect on their accomplishments and development over the past year, setting the stage for meaningful discussions with their supervisors.

Key Dates:

  • Acknowledgement of Extraordinary Contribution (AEC) Forms Due:  AEC forms must be submitted by March 1. These forms are required in order for a classified staff member to receive an overall performance rating of “Outstanding”. 
  • Self-Reflections Due: Classified staff and A/P faculty members must submit their self-reflections by March 2, 2025.
  • Supervisor Review Step Opens: Supervisors will begin drafting annual evaluations on March 3, 2025.

Learning Lab for Support:

To assist employees in drafting thoughtful and impactful self-reflections, HR is offering a Self-Evaluations & Performance Development Learning Lab on February 24, 2025, from 2:30 - 3:30 PM. This session will provide tips and strategies for writing effective self-evaluations. Register in MasonLeaps by February 22 to attend the session.
