Arts & Humanities Discussion Series: invited scholars John Christman and Jason Kelly

Please join the planning committee for the future Institute of Humanities and the Arts as we host John Christman, Director of the Humanities Institute at Pennsylvania State University, and Jason Kelly, Director of the Arts and Humanities Institute at Indiana University Indianapolis.
The first half of the event will feature John and Jason in conversation with Catherine Olien, Associate Director for Strategic Initiatives, Humanities and Arts, George Mason.
The second half will be an open Q&A and group discussion intended to shape the vision and charter proposal for the future Institute for Humanities and the Arts (launching fall 2027). Faculty, students, and staff from across the university are encouraged to attend and participate—the planning committee wants to hear from you.
Anne Osterman, Dean of Libraries and University Librarian, will deliver the opening remarks.
