George Mason University's College of Humanities and Social Sciences to host Human-Centered AI event on April 8 from 3 to 6 p.m. in Merten Hall, Fairfax Campus

Faculty in the College of Humanities and Social Sciences are at the forefront of emerging technologies research and teaching through their work on ethics and artificial intelligence, human interaction with robots, and other exciting multidisciplinary collaborations with engineering and computer science.

Join us for a lively afternoon of Ted Talk-style presentations and conversations about how the humanities and social sciences can and should inform and enhance the development of human-centered technology, ensuring attention to ethical considerations, cultural context, and social impact.

This exclusive event is a unique opportunity for College of Humanities and Social Sciences advisory board members, volunteers, supporters, and George Mason leadership to interact with thought leaders, share ideas, and envision a future where technology is not only advanced but also deeply attuned to the complexities and richness of the human experience and societal needs.
