Bhavani Arabandi, PhD

Dr. Bhavani Arabandi has over 15 years of experience at public and private higher education institutions in both the United States and India. She was a Fulbright scholar to India from 2014-2015 and most recently she was a Research Fellow at Rice University in Houston, Texas.

Her research interests are in the areas of globalization, political economy, and enduring inequalities in the labor market and she has several publications in major journals.

She received her MA in Sociology from Mason and her PhD from the University of Virginia. Dr. Arabandi is currently working at the United States Department of Labor.
