What was the most impactful class you took in your major?
The most impactful class I took in my major was Capstone in Criminology, Law and Society with Professor Mele. I just loved her teaching style and found her assignments to be very thought provoking and impactful.
What activities were you involved in during your time at Mason that impacted you?
I really enjoyed being a part of the Phi Kappa Beta Honor Society. It was very cool to be surrounded by people who are extremely passionate about learning.
What is your most memorable “Mason moment?”
My most memorable moment inside the classroom at Mason was successfully being lead counsel in my Constitutional Law class's Mock Evidence Suppression Hearing. This project was very demanding and the fact that I effectively presented it to my very large class showed me that I am capable of doing anything that I set my mind to.
As you are reflecting on your time at Mason, what is one piece of advice you would give a student who is just starting off on their Mason journey?
My advice for anyone who is just starting off on their Mason journey is to stay organized! I personally love to use my Google Calendar to keep track of all that I have to get done in the week, but just find any system that works for you! If you stay on top of your assignments from day 1, college will be a lot less stressful and more fun! Staying organized will allow you to develop a much deeper appreciate for your education and what you are studying!
What is your next step after graduation? What are your future plans?
After graduation, I am planning on taking some time off to study for the LSAT and to prepare my law school applications. I hope to attend an amazing law school and become an incredible attorney.
