Tom Seabrook
PhD in History
Tom Seabrook is a PhD student studying American history, public history, and colonialism at George Mason University. His research interests include memory and the built environment, technology, commemoration, and local history. He completed his BA in English and history at the College of William & Mary and his MA at Virginia Tech. Much of his background lies in public history; he worked at Historic Jamestowne, Jamestown Settlement, the American Civil War Museum, and Hanover Tavern Foundation before coming back to finish his training as a professional academic historian.
