The Office of Research, Innovation, and Economic Impact is inviting applications to participate in a two-day interactive workshop focused on building the partnerships needed to Translate Grand Challenge Research into Real-World Impact. This two-day, in-person workshop is designed to help faculty strengthen their ability to build purposeful partnerships that support research translation, real-world impact, and Grand Challenge Initiative goals. Through research-informed concepts, practical tools, peer learning, and applied exercises, participants will explore how to identify, initiate, design, and sustain productive partnerships across sectors and disciplines. The workshop will be held in person at Merten Hall on October 22–23, 2026.
Priority will be given to PI-eligible faculty and applicants who are able to participate fully in both workshop days. Please complete the application by 5:00 PM on Wednesday, September 16, 2026.
