Recent and upcoming Virginia graduate students (Masters/Ph.D.) are invited to apply for the 2026 Commonwealth Coastal & Marine Policy Fellowship sponsored by Virginia Sea Grant, the Virginia Environmental Endowment, and the Virginia Coastal Zone Management Program. This 12-month program bridges the gap between science and policy by placing fellows within key state and local agencies, including the VMRC, HRPDC, and Virginia DCR. This program aims to help students and recent graduates gain hands-on experience in policy analysis, stakeholder engagement, and project management. Additionally, it aims to support the resilience and sustainable management of Virginia’s coastal resources.
Students will receive a $58,000 stipend plus $5,000 for professional development.
