Hanover Research: upcoming webinars and grant opportunities

Hanover Research supports colleges and universities with research development, grant writing, and strategic advising. George Mason University faculty, staff, students and administrators have access to Hanover’s Grants Learning Center. The Grants Learning Center (GLC) is an on-demand grantsmanship training LMS designed for faculty, providing grant seeking and professional development.

Hanover Research will be hosting two webinars in April and May:

Creative Grant Seeking in a Challenging Landscape – April 24, 2025, at 12PM
This webinar will illustrate how a combination of creative design and resourceful grant seeking – such as exploring foundations or clearly articulating impact – can give PIs promising pathways to pursue even amidst a changing landscape. Speakers include Kristina Weaver and Melissa Cornish, Managing Grants Consultants for Hanover’s Grants Team.

Strategies for Successful Interdisciplinary Collaboration – May 29, 2025, at 12PM
This webinar will explore the art of working with experts beyond your field — from identifying and reaching out to potential collaborators to navigating each phase of developing a competitive proposal. Speakers will be announced closer to the event.

Additionally, Hanover Research has produced a grants calendar centered on certain funding interests and provides a snapshot of upcoming grant opportunities. Please note, that given ongoing developments in the federal funding landscape, grant seekers are advised to closely monitor the status of programs and confirm guidance with program staff to confirm accuracy wherever possible.
