If you are looking for resources or if you are new to preparing grant applications, then the Hanover Grants Learning Center may be just what you are looking for. This resource is particularly helpful if you are new to NIH or NSF CAREER awards and would like to better understand the grant submission process.
Hanover Research has a contract with the Provost's Office and, as an added benefit of that contract, faculty, staff and students at George Mason University can access Hanover’s Grants Learning Center. The Grants Learning Center (GLC) is an on-demand grantsmanship training LMS designed for faculty, providing grant seeking and professional development including:
- Agency-specific federal funding support (such as NSF CAREER and NIH R-series mechanisms)
- Grantsmanship skill-building topics on topics like Prospecting, Resubmission, Concept Development, Program Officer Outreach, etc.
- Self-paced modules with step-by-step guidance to develop compelling proposals
- Interactive exercises, videos, and resources to navigate the process
Access to the GLC from Hanover has been extended through December 2027. George Mason authenticated users can access the GLC by sending an email to chssadr@gmu.edu and requesting the authentication code. PLEASE NOTE: This code is for George Mason University faculty, staff and students only. DO NOT share this information to anyone outside of the university.
