Desiree Desierto  became Associate Editor of the Journal of Economics, Management, and Religion.

Grants

Department of Economics

Desiree Desierto received a $20,000 grant (with Mark Koyama) from Emergent Ventures.

Jason Dunick secured a six-figure grant to fund the Center for Economic Education at Mason. The Center provides professional development support for K-12 teachers who teach economics and personal finance in our local public schools. This external grant funded a full-time position of an Associate Director, Patrick DeRosa, who executes the Center's programming and outreach initiatives. The important work of the Center was featured in this year's CHSS Community Impact Report.
