NEH/IMLS Digital Humanities Advancement Grant Competition Open

The Digital Humanities Advancement Grants program (DHAG), a joint effort of the National Endowment for the Humanities and Institute of Museum and Library Services, supports innovative, experimental, and/or computationally challenging digital projects.

  • The aim of the program is to enhance scholarly research, teaching, and public programming in the digital humanities.
  • Funding can be sought for projects at any stage, from early start-up through implementation and sustainability.
  • Potential outputs include articles, digital infrastructure, digital resources or publications, reports, software, teaching resources, or workshops.

Applicants can submit drafts of proposals through April 17 to receive tips and feedback from NEH staff, and the final submission deadline is June 15. As noted, projects may be for up to $350,000 over a period of three years.

Additional details, including a webinar, proposal instructions, and sample narratives, can be found here.
