Mason's talent acquisition team is part of Human Resources and Payroll, and supports the university in all recruitment matters by setting and enforcing recruitment policies and procedures based on state and federal regulations as well as recruitment best practices. The team is pleased to announce two online resources:

Search Coordinator Resources

The Search Coordinator Resources page is a quick reference guide for search coordinators and/or anyone tasked to perform similar duties during a search. A search coordinator performs a crucial role in the hiring process, ensuring the execution of a compliant and efficient search. The new resources page outlines the search coordinator’s role and responsibilities, best interview practices, and recommended methods of documentation. 

Recruiting Support

In addition to general and strategic guidance and assistance with sourcing strategies and advertising, Mason’s talent acquisition team also offers direct recruiting/sourcing assistance for hard-to-fill positions.

This allows units to request the assistance of experienced in-house recruiters sourcing passive candidates to boost applicants for strategic vacancies throughout the university without having to outsource and incur fees from utilizing an outside staffing firm.
