Mason's Chart of Accounts (COA) is the structure used to capture financial transactions and data in the Banner enterprise resource planning system. You may have heard that Mason is implementing a new COA, effective July 1, 2022, redesigned to better meet financial management needs of the institution.
The CHSS finance team will provide provide more information and training resources in the fall 2022 semester. For the remainder of this academic year, please note that implementation will begin in less than a month and most financial transaction processing systems (eVA, Mason Finance Gateway) will be unavailable in June. As such, please coordinate with your office manager on any upcoming travel and purchasing plans.
