As of October 1, 2020, Mason's Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP) issued a proposal submission policy that requires all proposals to be received by 5 p.m. (4) four full business days, excluding the day of submission, in advance of the sponsor’s deadline.
CHSS faculty answered OSP's call and have done a stellar job adhering to this requirement. The March 2021 4-day deadline compliance report showed CHSS faculty were 100% compliant. We still have a little more work to do, however, on gathering all subrecipient data 14 days prior to the sponsor deadline.
Note: Non-compliance with the university 4-day deadline could result in the proposal not being submitted. Further, all subcontract materials are due to OSP 10 business days before the internal 4-day deadline given the additional needs of subcontracts.
