CHSS is excited to announce that Brian van de Graaff, BA Speech Communication ’97 and CHSS Distinguished Alum '24, will address graduates and their guests as the alumni speaker of the upcoming degree celebration on May 16.  

The Alan Cheuse International Writers Center marks its 10th anniversary with an April festival presented in partnership with Mason Exhibitions, the Goethe‑Institut, and Solas Nua. Events across the Washington, D.C., region will bring together international writers, scholars, and artists for conversations on literature, history, and place.

Diplomatic Security Service Special Agent Mohamed Hassan, BA Religious Studies ’20, was a field liaison officer during the Milan Cortina 2026 Olympic Games.
