Each year, the College of Humanities and Social Sciences hosts a Celebration of Scholarship to recognize the recipients of the annual Award for Scholarship. Through this award and the gala reception held each year, the college calls attention to the value of the scholarly activities in which all faculty are engaged.

Students who have received the academic awards from the college are also recognized at the Celebration of Scholarship.
