The College of Humanities and Social Sciences (CHSS) created this website as a resource for anti-racism education and support available to the Mason community. Education is one of our greatest tools in the fight for equity and justice. We must all be open to learning, to changing, to acknowledging our missteps and mistakes, in order to become engaged citizens and well-rounded scholars who are prepared to act.
The courses and resources presented here approach racial and social justice and equity from a variety of disciplinary and interdisciplinary perspectives and lenses. Students of all levels, majors, minors, and degrees are welcome and encouraged to explore these course listings and consider taking a course.
These pages are meant to be a growing resource for the Mason community, and we welcome suggestions for additional resources, educational opportunities, anti-racism tools, and other avenues of support for BIPOC students, faculty, and staff. We will continue to update this page each semester to ensure the course listing is accurate.
