Cody W. Telep

Cody Telep is an Assistant Professor in the School of Criminology and Criminal Justice at Arizona State University.  His main research interests include evaluating innovations in policing, police legitimacy, evidence-based policy, and experimental criminology.

Dr. Telep received his PhD from Mason in May 2013 after completing his dissertation on evidence-based policing. While at Mason, Dr. Telep worked with Dr. David Weisburd and Dr. Cynthia Lum at the Center for Evidence-Based Crime Policy, primarily on projects in the areas of crime and place and policing. 

As a founding member of the Criminology, Law and Society Student Association, Dr. Telep helped write the first Graduate Student Handbook.  For his distinguished record, he received a Dean's Challenge Fellowship for 2012-2013.
