Theresa is a Term Instructor of English for Academic Purposes (EAP) at George Mason Korea. After studying journalism and Spanish at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, she worked at a literacy non-profit organization through the AmeriCorps VISTA program. During this experience, she developed a love for working with students, particularly language learners. Since then, she has taught English in Spain, Hungary, and the United States. She earned her master’s degree at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, where she studied indigenous language revitalization. Her current areas of interest are teaching technology, curriculum development, and gamification.
