Olga assists CHSS departments and centers in managing externally funded sponsored awards received by the college. She is responsible for reviewing and approving grant personnel labor actions, monitoring post award activities, conducting monthly compliance reviews for the College, and providing ongoing research financial support and training to CHSS centers and departments.
Prior to Mason, Olga worked at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland assisting approximately 80 faculty members and students at the Physics and Astronomy Department. Olga was responsible for providing sponsored research support to a very active group of Condensed Matter Professors and their research team.
Olga also completed a double major in International Relations and Spanish from Eastern Washington University and then continued on with her Master’s at the University of Denver. Olga’s interest and experience in finance and budget analysis led her to enroll into Mason’s MBA program. She is currently a part-time student at the School of Business and is expected to graduate in May 2023. During her free time Olga enjoys spending time with her new puppy Julia, hiking, cooking and reading good books.
