Marie graduated from Christopher Newport University (CNU) in 2016 with a Bachelor's Degree in Communication Studies and a double minor in Leadership Studies and Film Studies. During her time at CNU she worked in multiple offices including Admission, Recreational Services, Orientation, and Residence Life. After graduation she returned to her hometown of Alexandria, Virginia to teach a high school course for a semester. She then worked as an Event Support Specialist at the Metropolitan DC Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
Marie began working at George Mason University May of 2018 in the College of Humanities and Social Sciences Development and Alumni Relations Office as a Development Coordinator. She volunteers every week as a counselor for Crisis Text Line and continues to stay involved with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. In her free time she enjoys hiking, baking, road trips, and spending time with her French Bulldog, Leo.
