Anne's role in the College of Humanities and Social Sciences is to stay informed about and share news of the diverse and vital work of its faculty, staff, students, and alumni, highlighting the many paths open to those with an education in the humanities and social sciences.
With a background in English literature, economics, and law, she understands that the skills developed through liberal arts training are valuable in all areas of work and life.
Anne came to George Mason University in October, 2011, from a marketing and research firm in Fairfax, Virginia. She received her bachelor’s degrees and law degree from the College of William & Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia, and enjoyed a legal career with the United States Postal Service, as an advocate in ratemaking and Freedom of Information Act proceedings. She remains involved in the work of the college from her home in Franklin County, Virginia.
