This documentary film is about Grandma Kim Bok Dong who was a survivor of the Japanse Military Sexual Slavery (known as "comfort women") during Wolrd War II. She was among thousands of girls and young women who were sexually exploited by the Imperial Japanese Army during World War II, many through kidnapping and coercion.

IIR Colloquium Series Presents U.S.-China Relations: How Changes to Trade and Immigration Affect Both Countries

The IIR will host a panel of experts discussing the impact of recent policy changes for the U.S. and China and the future of U.S.-China relations. Speakers include Dan Griswold of the Mercatus Center, Megan Essaheb of Asian Americans Advancing Justice, Sean Lin of the Asian American Chamber of Commerce of Fairfax, and the IIR’s own Professor James Witte.
