Two Minutes of Light by Nancy K. Pearson was chosen by Marie Howe as winner of the 2008 Perugia Press Prize. Other Latitudes by Brian Brodeur was chosen by Stephen Dunn as winner of the 2007 Akron Poetry Series.

"It's 1944 and Wink Dutton, a former illustrator for Stars and Stripes has returned to Chicago after an injury to his drawing hand gets him an unwanted discharge from the service.
