CHSS faculty and staff are asked to mark their calendars for upcoming opportunities to continue collaborating on the college’s Inclusive Excellence (IE) work. This year, we will offer two townhalls:
- November 1 from 11am - noon via Zoom
- March 30 from 11am – noon via Zoom
We will provide updates on the IE plan to date, share departments' progress on implementing Year 1 SMART Goals (wins and challenges), and discuss opportunities for the next phase of the IE plan. The CHSS IE plan serves as a blueprint for our communal work to make the college a more inclusive and equitable place.
We will also re-introduce the CHSS DEI Team – Xiaomei Cai, Chrystal George Mwangi, Jaime Lester, Cesar Rebellon, and Jacelyn Tyson – and the CHSS IE Advisory Council, charged with representing our college constituencies and providing recommendations on IE efforts as they develop.
