Innovations in Teaching and Learning Conference coming September 30

The Stearns Center for Teaching and Learning invites instructors, staff, and GTAs to Mason's 14th annual Innovations in Teaching and Learning conference on September 30,2022. The conference is an in-person, full day of interactive workshops, panels, teaching-focused research presentations, and networking with colleagues. It also includes some live-streaming options and on-demand content.

The keynote speaker, Claire Howell Major, is a professor of higher education and the chair of the department of educational leadership, policy, and technology studies at the University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa. She will share her principles of teaching students to advance learning and develop classroom engagement in higher education.
