Shane Kanady is SourceAmerica’s Vice President of Workforce Development. In this role, he oversees programs that focus on the economic and social inclusion of persons with disabilities. As a researcher on the future of work, Shane advises social enterprises, government agencies and the United States Congress on inclusive programmatic and legislative frameworks. He also oversees relationships with domestic and international organizations on behalf of SourceAmerica.
During his eighteen-year career, Shane has served in multiple management and director roles in the areas of operations and government affairs. In addition to his MAIS degree with a concentration in Social Entrepreneurship, he holds certifications from Georgetown and George Washington University. He has served as a Social Impact Fellow at Mason and a Graduate Student Fellow at the Aspen Institute. Currently, he serves on the advisory council for the Armed Services Arts Partnership, the Mason LIFE coordinating council, and as a Fellow with the Royal Society for the Encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce.
