Follows development of tragedy from its origins to the works of Aeschylus, Sophocles, and Euripides, and its reappearance in the Roman world in the tragedies of Seneca. Considers influence of Greek tragedy on later cultures. Notes: Coursework in English. Limited to three attempts.
