It is with great sadness that the Department of Criminology, Law and Society announces the loss of Professor Steven Davidson, a wonderful educator and colleague, who passed away over the winter break. Professor Davidson was an attorney who recently began teaching at Mason and found great enjoyment and satisfaction in his teaching role. In a blog entitled "A Teacher is Born," Professor Davidson described the joy he found in teaching a course on criminal justice ethics, and how that joy inspired his students. His enthusiasm for teaching and unique teaching style were valuable additions to the CLS program and its students, and he will be greatly missed. We extend our heartfelt condolences to Professor Davidson's family, friends, and community.
