Stay Connected

Once a Patriot, Always a Patriot.

The College of Humanities and Social Sciences flourishes when supported by its alumni and community partners and one of the greatest ways you can give back is through your time and knowledge. We hope you will find a way to stay involved through our opportunities below.

Pilot Program Announcement:
Join our mentorship program for graduate students

The College of Humanities and Social Sciences is piloting a mentorship initiative with PeopleGrove. The initiative aims to foster a relationship between graduate students at Mason, graduate alumni from the college, and friends of the college already affiliated with our Mason community. The PeopleGrove platform allows current Mason graduate students to engage with alumni, employers, and faculty and staff, to learn about career opportunities, and to ask questions.

We are looking for alumni from CHSS graduate programs to serve as mentors within this platform. Mentors will be matched based on affinity group and individual interests, not just discipline. Alumni mentors can also indicate they would like to connect with students about a particular topic such as, parenting and working toward a degree, regional job searches, balancing work/home life, or being a first-generation graduate student.

Please fill out our interest form at this link to get started.
